Back to blogging with 19 years of experience

Today, I have this feeling that I've gone back to blogging, just like 19 years ago. It feels like 2006, the month of April, when I was starting to learn about professional blogging. I didn't know many things, but I just spent at least 10 hours every day trying to understand professional blogging and how to write blog posts.

Back then, I only knew how to create hyperlinks in my MS Word files and then put them into a blog run by Movable Type. WordPress was just starting to gain popularity in those days, but I mostly blogged on Movable Type and Blogger. Today is April 1, 2025, and after 19 years, I've decided to start blogging seriously again.

Many things have changed when it comes to Google's search engine optimization. You see, back then, writing a post of 200 words was enough to get ranked in Google, and the matter of linking or backlinks was different. There were social bookmarking websites like Digg, Reddit, ShoutWire, etc.

Many people used to visit those social networking websites to find quality content. Also, writing comments on other blogs was considered very important because Google used to count comments as an important factor for backlinks and Google PageRank. You see, back then, Google PageRank was a very big deal, and if you had a blog with a PageRank of 6, that meant your blog would be indexed in Google very fast, sometimes within just one minute after you uploaded a post.

Many people from around the world joined blogging like a gold rush, feeling that there was money to be made and that they could become rich overnight or instantly. But that didn't happen, and only a few could earn significant amount of money. However, that didn't prevent thousands of people from joining blogging every year. I achieved some success because I was a very hardworking person at that time, and I didn't have any other option but to become a blogger. Now, in 2025, blogging isn't as popular as it was in the past, and most people feel that it's no longer relevant or can't be a career option.

Maybe they're right, but I want to do it because I enjoy writing and I enjoy blogging. I have to try again to learn about the new rules, like how to get quality backlinks or backlinks from quality websites, how to network with other bloggers, etc. I was addicted to Facebook for the last 10 years, and I spent and wasted a lot of time during that period.

I achieved some success, but when it comes to social media, there's always a lot of conflict, and now I really want to focus on writing and become a writer. I know that if I can spend 10 hours every day blogging, then I'll become successful at it, just like in the past. Now I am more mature, and I have a lot of experience.

All I need now is to be hopeful and optimistic, and with optimism, I just need to work hard every day and work consistently. For the last few days, I've practiced writing, and every day I used to write a lot. Almost all of it was useless, or you could say nonsense writing, but it was very good for practicing.

As a result, I've gotten used to writing, and now words and sentences are coming spontaneously from my brain, and I am writing. I feel that I can write, and soon I will be able to write professionally. I'll be able to write for my blog, and it will start bringing some or a moderate amount of success, and soon I'll get habituated to it, and I will understand and have all the skills to become successful in writing.

I know very well that I sound like a freshman, but that's not a problem. I have a lot of experience. All I need now is to use that experience to work continuously.

If I can work continuously, then success is just a matter of days, not even months. I have to try to write a blog post of 1000 words, and if I can do it, then one of my blog posts will catch the attention of other bloggers or even the attention of the search engine Google. The main thing is that I know that I write from my heart, and it is natural.

It's not artificial or mechanical, but it's very good for other human beings to read. I'm not technically gifted, but my writing has some emotion that has the capacity to touch other human beings, and that is a very good skill when it comes to writing. Blogging was supposed to be a platform in which writers shared their opinions, and I was very good at giving my own opinion about any topic.

I still have this skill, and I know that some people would really love to read this type of blog post. I have come towards the end of this blog post, and I feel that it is going to be 1000 words long. Today, I want to write many posts, and I want to comment on some other blog posts by other people.

I want to spend all of today just blogging, and this way, I'll get habituated, and it's like going back to 19 years earlier in my life. I know very well that it is not easy to become successful in blogging or on Facebook; rather, it is like cultivating in a desert. But if you are successful, then you are going to achieve a huge amount of success because there is no competition.

Most people would stop trying within just a few days, and only those who can keep going can hope to achieve some kind of success. There are very few people at the top, and it is true in anything, and in blogging, it is particularly even more true. I am very happy because words and sentences are coming naturally, and my writing is natural.

It is not mechanical, so I know that it will touch the heart of some people because it contains my opinion. I also know that it is a long journey, and it is only the beginning of this journey.
